BREAST CANCER ANTI TOBACCO LARYNX SANCTUARY

Sanctuary was started in_________ to provide psychological support to patients who come here. We have volunteers who have been trained in counselling over the years and also who try to make the patient's visit and stay as comfortable as possible. Especially while they are recuperating, they need the maximum support. Support from their family and loved ones also goes a long way in helping them heal faster. FRIENDS OF CANCER INSTITUTE Friends of Cancer Institute is a group of individuals from varied fields who are contributing our time and skill sets to enable The Cancer Institute to achieve it's objectives in terms of aggregating a corpus, enhancing the medical technology available internally and reorientation/advanced training of staff. To that extent, we could call this ‘skill based’ volunteering. This will be a registered society in a few months with some international volunteers also chipping in. However, this group does not have a legal entity and is not a trust.
