NEED FOR FOLLOW-UP

Treatment is not the last step in the fight against cancer. Recurrence being a reality, we strongly recommend follow-up visits to the Institute. This will go a long way in ensuring there is no recurrence of the disease in the initial years after treatment.

The Institute has a Registry where data about past patients is available. This is in the process of being computerized. This data is useful when a patient comes back for a follow-up visit as well as to document and research the cancers over a period of time.
